Private Native Forestry in New South Wales and Queensland

An approved Private Native Forestry (PNF) Plan is required before you can commence native timber harvesting or management on private land. PNF Plan approvals are obtained through Local Land Services (LLS) as defined in the Local Land Services Act 2013 and allow PNF activities in accordance with the ‘PNF Code of Practice’. PNF Plans can be approved for up to 15 years.

While obtaining a PNF Plan through LLS can be a simple process, landowners should be aware of both the benefits and impacts when identifying areas of their land subject to the approval.

Log Check Forestry can support you through the PNF Plan application process or we can do this Free of charge:

  1. Working with landowner and LLS to acquire your approval
  2. Advising areas on your land best suited to PNF in relation to other land management options.
  3. Reviewing map accuracy such as Old Growth and Rainforest exclusions and request reassessment where required.

There is no cost to obtaining a PNF approval. PNF approved areas can be simply varied or ended at any time post-approval without impact on future land management options or call Adrian on 0427795224.

Please download and sign the permission form & We will do the do the rest FREE of Charge.
